CAN I HAVE THE PARTY AT HOME?
You can have the party at home, but only if you have the space (10ft by10ft). Magic Monty brings the " Big Show " atmosphere to your party/event and has loads of wonderful surprises. The only downside to this is that i take up a lot of room, so the preferred venue is a hall.
WHAT IS THE MINIMUM NUMBER OF CHILDREN?
The more children the better, any less than 10 and it becomes difficult to create the required atmosphere. However i will strive to entertain your guests to the best of my ability, even if there are less than 10.
HOW LONG ARE YOUR PARTIES?
The most popular choice is the full 2 hour party, i also have a 1 hour magic & puppet show. If you decided to do your own games then the 1 hour magic show would be your best option.
WHERE DO YOU PERFORM YOUR PARTIES?
I can perform my parties just about anywhere, halls, community centre, church, hotel and your home. I don't do outside parties at the moment, but i am looking to purchase a Gazebo in the not to distant future. If however the relavent cover is provided, i would be happy to bring my show to your event.
HOW MUCH NOTICE DO YOU REQUIRE?
Book my show as soon as you can, especially the weekends, i do have shows booked a year in advance!!. If you decide to have a party, give me a call and we can get it booked. I will hold a provisional space in my planner for 3 days, this allows you time to book your venue, after 3 days this space will be allocated to the next customer.
WHICH VENUE DO I CHOOSE?
Sometimes it is better to check the venue yourself for cleanliness, size, access and parking for Magic Monty.
DO YOU PERFORM OTHER FORMS OF ENTERTAINMENT?
Yes, balloon mingling packages are available, these can be tailored to suit your needs or event.
WHAT AGE GROUPS DO YOU COVER?
The age groups i cover are 4 to 7 year olds, the show can be adjusted to suit a certain age. It is important to remember to avoid mixing the age range to much as this can cause trouble.
DO YOU PROVIDE FOOD AND PARTY BAGS?
No, sorry, i do not provide either of the above, but i do supply balloons as a replacement for party bags. this saves you the hassle and cost of party bags and makes sure the children go home with a balloon model. There is an extra fee for the balloons, they are pre - made before the show. For safety reasons no children under 3 years of age will be given a balloon.
HOW DO I PAY?
No deposit is required only the return of the signed contract. Payment can be made by cash or cheque before the start of the show.
HOW MUCH DO YOU CHARGE?
The price varies depending on how far i am travelling, the different needs of the individual customer and the type / size of event. However you can be sure that the cost will be very competative for a top children's entertainer.
WHAT AREAS DO YOU COVER?
Dumfries and Galloway, Central Scotland, Lothian, Borders and Cumbria. Remember the cost will vary depending on the distance travelled.
ARE YOU AVAILABLE FOR MIDWEEK PARTIES?
I can do midweek parties, but the 11am till 1pm slot will not be available.
DO YOU HAVE A DISCO AND MUSIC?
I bring a large selection of music and disco lights for the party dance section of my show. If there is a certain track or artist you would like, just let me know and i will magic it to your party!.
CAN YOU SAW THE WIFE IN HALF?
If the money is right, just joking. I will be doing comedy cabaret magic for grown ups in the near future...so maybe then.
